Proper introductions - Eden in ICE

It's my pleasure to introduce Walter (Chap) Wilhelm

If I could choose someone famous to play the part of Chap there would be only one choice

Sam Elliot
In my book Eden in Ice: Walter or Chap as everyone calls him. Has raised his granddaughter Danielle, to the best of his ability. It has been a struggle for him to go on after loosing his wife, daughter and son-in-law nearly eighteen years ago. Danielle means the world to him, so he can best be described as a doting role-model, strict and set in his ways. His past is kept hidden to keep a secret; a secret that he would do anything to hide.

From the Author: I see him as a hard working rancher. Handsome but worn, with a slender build, still young looking for a man in his 90's. He walks with a limp and uses a handmade cane. On any given occasion he wears boots and jeans with a button down shirt, old and out of style. His handle bar mustache and silvery white hair are easily recognizable, even when he tries to hide under his old silver belly cowboy hat. On occasion he has been known to smoke the bulldog saddle pipe he found years ago in his family's home on the out skirts of Eden, Texas where he was raised.

I fell like I have written and re-written this book several times over! All I can do now, is go over it again and again. There us a reason why EDIT is a four letter word.

Novella

After much consideration, I have decided to break the Series "Elemental Eden" into a six part Novella. That will be followed by even more thrills. I will have more information on the release of the first book Eden in Ice soon!

Re-writes

It's going to be a ghost town around my blog and twitter pages for a few days while I work on some re-writes.  I'm ready for the showdown, six guns are blazing!

Last night we had a birthday party for my husband, someone asked how old he was, sparking an entire conversation about the crazy parties we have planned through the years. There was the going away party for his hair when he turned 30, the everything's falling out of place party for my 30th, the look who's back in diapers party on his 40th. There are more... I put on a going grey party, and older than dirt party among others.

He is already planning thr end of the world party for my 40th birthday the day after the world is supposed to end DEC 21, 2012. I really don't think it would be that bad of a deal if the world ended that day. I would never have to turn 40 on December 22, but they have been wrong about theses things before....soooo who knows
